Fried Rye Muffins
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rye meal
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup molasses
Directions
Mix and sift dry ingredients; add remaining ingredients; beat well. Drop from a spoon into hot fat. Fry like doughnuts.
