Homemade Peach Preserves
Ingredients
- 6 pounds of the best free-stone peaches
- 3 pounds of sugar
Directions
Pare, stone and quarter the fruit, strew the sugar amongst it, cover and set away over night. Put into a preserving kettle in the morning and boil very slowly an hour or more. Seal hot.
