Homemade Wheat Grits

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 3/4 cup wheat grits

Directions

Add the salt to the boiling water, sift the wheat grits into the rapidly boiling water, and stir rapidly to prevent lumps. Cook for a few minutes until the grits thicken. Then place in a double boiler and cook 2-4 hours.
