German Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cupful sweet milk
- 2 teaspoonfuls baking powder
- 1 heaping teaspoonful butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cupful sugar
- 1/2 teaspoonful salt
- Flour enough to make a stiff batter
Directions
Sift the baking powder with part of the flour. The egg can be omitted. Cover the top with sugar, cinnamon and bits of butter. Bake.
