Fig Filling

Ingredients

  • 2 cups figs, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • few grains salt

Directions

Cook ingredients in double boiler until of consistency to spread.
