Fig Filling

Ingredients

2 cups figs, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter
few grains salt

Directions

Cook ingredients in double boiler until of consistency to spread.
