Plain Gold Cake
Ingredients
- 1 whole egg and the yolks of 3
- 1/2 cupful butter
- 1 cupful sugar
- 1/2 cupful sweet milk or water
- 1 3/4 cupfuls flour
- 1/2 teaspoonful soda
- 1 teaspoonful cream-tartar
- Flavor with lemon or vanilla
Directions
Mix all ingredients. Bake.
