Chocolate Caramels

Ingredients

  • 1 cupful yellow sugar
  • 2 cupfuls molasses
  • 1 tablespoonful flour
  • butter
  • 1/2 pound grated chocolate

Directions

Boil sugar and molassses ten minutes, add flour, butter the size of an egg, and chocolate, boil twenty minutes longer. Pour in buttered tins, and when cool, mark off in squares, vanilla flavoring.
