Tutti Frutti Cream Candy
Ingredients
- 3 cupfuls white sugar
- 1/2 cupful water
- 1 tablespoonful vinegar
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1 pound chopped figs or nut meats
Directions
Boil ten minutes, then add coconut. Boil ten minutes longer, remove from fire and stir in figs or nut meats, half and half with the figs. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered paper or in fancy molds, or pour in shallow pans and out in squares while cooling. Raisins may be mixed with the figs.
