Vintage Sweet Potato Pie
Ingredients
- 3 cups sweet potato
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
Directions
Mix the potatoes, eggs, and dry ingredients. Stir the mixture thoroughly. Pour in the milk and stir well. Turn into a partly baked pie crust, place in a moderate oven, and bake until the filling is set.
