Homemade Tomato Pie
Line a pie-plate with a nice crust. Peel and slice sufficient tomatoes, (half ripe ones are really better), to fill the pie. Sprinkle over the top 1/2 cupful of sugar, 1 teaspoonful of flour, butter, the size of a walnut, cut this in bits, and flavor with lemon juice. Cover with an upper crust. Bake.
