Recipe for Nut Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
Directions
- Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder together.
- Add the butter, nuts, sugar, and milk. Stir until the mixture forms a dough.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a greased pan.
- Brush each biscuit with milk and place a pinch of chopped nuts on top.
- Bake.
