How to Make Potato Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup baked potato
- 2 tablespoons lard
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 yeast cake
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 egg white
Directions
- Mash potato and mix with butter and lard
- Add the yeast, milk, sugar, salt, and egg to the potatoes and stir.
- Stir in the flour until the mixture forms a dough.
- Roll the dough out and cut into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a greased pan and brush the tops of each biscuit with butter.
- Allow the biscuits to sit overnight in the refrigerator.
- Bake.
