Spider Corn Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Add the egg and sour milk. Stir until it forms a batter.
- Melt butter to grease a bread pan.
- Pour batter into pan, adding the milk on top of the batter.
- Bake.
