How to Make Cocoa Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups pastry flour
- 3 teaspoons baking-powder
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar together.
- Add egg yolks.
- Add the dry ingredients followed by the water.
- Mix in the vanilla and egg whites.
- Pour batter into greased muffin pans.
- Bake.
