How to Make Corn Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon butter or lard
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups milk
Directions
- Sift cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together.
- Stir in butter (or lard), eggs, and milk until it forms a batter.
- Pour batter into a greased muffing pan.
- Bake.
