Raised Wheat Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/8 yeast cake
Directions
- Mix the flour, salt, and sugar together in a bowl.
- Boil the milk and butter. Let cool.
- Add the milk and butter to the dry ingredients.
- Stir in the yeast.
- Cover the bowl and put it in the refrigerator to rise overnight.
- Add the egg to the batter.
- Pour batter into a greased muffin pan and allow the muffins to rise.
- Bake.
