How to Make Rye Gems
Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups rye flour
- 1 1/3 cups white flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
- Sift the dry ingredients.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until the mixture forms a batter.
- Pour into a greased gem pan.
- Bake.
