How to Make Maple Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cupfuls bread flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- scraped or grated maple sugar
- 2 tablespoons lard
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Mix the baking powder, salt, lard, and milk together.
- Roll dough 1/2-inch thick in an oblong shape.
- Brush top of dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Roll up like a jelly roll.
- Cut dough in 1 inch slices.
- Places slices in a greased pan with the cut side down.
- Bake 20-25 minutes.
