How to Make Sally Lunn
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking-powder
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Beat yolks and add them to the sugar and butter.
- Stir in the flour, baking powder, and milk.
- Beat egg whites and add them to the mixture.
- Pour batter into a tube pan and bake.
