How to Make Entire Wheat Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1/4 yeast cake
- 1/3 cup sugar or 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 5 cups sifted entire wheat flour
Directions
- Mix milk, salt, and the sugar (or molasses).
- Add yeast and flour. Stir.
- Let dough rise until it doubles in size.
- Place dough in greased bread pans.
- Let dough rise again.
- Bake.
