Cherry Ketchup

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of cherry juice
  • 3/4 pound of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • A dash of Cayenne pepper

Directions

Mix ingredients and boil to a thick syrup. Bottle. A nice way of using up the surplus juice left in canning cherries.
