White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. of flour
  • 2 tbsp. of butter
  • 1 large cupful of milk or cream

Directions

Rub butter and flour smooth in a saucepan over the fire and add the boiling milk or cream gradually, stirring until all is smooth. Season with salt.
