Recipe for Hot Slaw

Ingredients
- 4 cups cabbage
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tb. butter
- 1 Tb. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1 egg
Directions
Chop the cabbage very fine. Put it in a saucepan with the water, and allow it to cook until the water is reduced by half. Melt the butter in a pan and stir in the flour, salt, egg, and vinegar. Pour this sauce over the cabbage and allow this mixture to cook until the sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Serve hot.
